Just a reminder that Jesus died and suffered on that cross, so that you could be reconciled to God AND so that you would never again need to walk in defeat, but with strength, power and authority. To execute God's will be done on earth as it is in heaven in the name of Jesus - you have this power and authority as his ambassadorial representatives here on earth. You have the authority over devils and demons, sickness, disease and infirmity. Jesus has caused you to be triumphant in all for you are more than a conqueror through him who loved you (Jesus)

Luke 10
17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Here is the commentary on verses 18 and 19
c. I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven: The success of these commissioned disciples — especially their authority over demonic spirits — caused Jesus to speak of the fall of Satan, when he fell as quick and dramatic as lightning from heaven.
i. The Bible actually mentions four falls of Satan:
From glorified to profane (Ezekiel 28:14-16).
From having access to heaven (Job 1:12, 1 Kings 22:21, Zechariah 3:1) to restriction to the earth (Revelation 12:9).
From the earth to bondage in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years (Revelation 20:1-3).
From the pit to the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10).
ii. Here Jesus spoke of Satan’s first fall, from glorified to profane. Fall like lightning from heaven doesn’t mean that Satan fell from heaven, but that his fall was as dramatic and sudden as a bolt of lightning from heaven. According to Job 1:12, 1 Kings 22:21, and Zechariah 3:1, Satan still has access to heaven. Yet the success of the disciples against demonic spirits was confirmation that Satan had fallen from his place of authority and power, and though was still powerful, was in an inferior place.
Gill's Exposition on verse 19
Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions,.... Which may be literally understood, as in Mark 16:18, or figuratively of the devil, and his principalities and powers, and all his emissaries, who, for their craft and cunning, and for their poisonous and hurtful nature and influence, may be compared to serpents and scorpions:
and over all the power of the enemy; of mankind in general, and of the seed of the woman, Christ and his people in particular, Christ has a power over all his power, his whole posse of devils, even the power of the air, of which he is prince; and he communicated this power to his disciples, even to the seventy: adding,
and nothing shall by any means, hurt you; not the most hurtful and poisonous animals, nor the most malicious persecutors on earth, nor all the devils in hell: as the former venomous creatures, when took up in their hands, should not hurt, their bodies; so the other, whatever they might be permitted to do with respect to their lives, and outward estate, should never hurt their souls, and the eternal welfare of them; nor even hinder the work of God prospering in their hands.

Prayer
Father I come to you today in repentance, I put aside everything of the old and repent of every word I have ever spoken in opposition to your will that has become and open door to the kingdom of darkness. Close these doors Father I ask you in Jesus name. Give me revelation of your perfect will, plan and purpose for my life. Transform me by the renewal of my mind. Empower me for purpose and cause me to be filled with your Holy Spirit. Fill me with your power and authority. Cause me to move forward in purpose and be an effective warrior in your kingdom, so that I can build your kingdom and cause your perfect will to be done on earth as it is in heaven and to cause your kingdom to come. I dedicate my life in your full service Lord, I surrender all
