There is always a promise of better in God. Things not only change for better but God's best.
As I turned to these verses this morning, I will share all that God revealed
Jeremiah 32:38 - 44
38 They will be My people, and I will be their God; 39 and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may [reverently] fear Me forever, for their own good and for the good of their children after them. 40 I will make an everlasting covenant with them that I will do them good and not turn away from them; and I will put in their heart a fear and reverential awe of Me, so that they will not turn away from Me.(E)41 I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will faithfully plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul. 42 For thus says the Lord, ‘Just as I have brought all this great disaster on this people, so I am going to bring on them all the good that I am promising them. 43 Fields will be bought in this land of which you say, “It is desolate, without man or animal; it is given into the hands of the Chaldeans.” 44 People will buy fields for money, sign deeds, seal them, and call in witnesses in the land of Benjamin, in the places around Jerusalem, in the cities of Judah, in the cities of the hill country, in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South (the Negev); for I will restore their fortunes and release them from exile,’ says the Lord.”
Many believe all that happens is related to man and the devil.
They forget about God’s sovereignty and fail to realise that God himself will release punishment on Nations and peoples at times. He uses Governments as a form of judgement or blessing.
Remember too that even evil plans and agendas laid out by men will be thwarted if they do not line up to God’s plans.
In his time!
He will have his glory in all!
Listen carefully to these words
Isaiah 57:14 - 21
God Forgives the Repentant
14 God says, “Rebuild the road! Clear away the rocks and stones so my people can return from captivity.” 15 The high and lofty one who lives in eternity, the Holy One, says this: “I live in the high and holy place with those whose spirits are contrite and humble. I restore the crushed spirit of the humble and revive the courage of those with repentant hearts. 16 For I will not fight against you forever; I will not always be angry. If I were, all people would pass away— all the souls I have made. 17 I was angry, so I punished these greedy people. I withdrew from them, but they kept going on their own stubborn way. 18 I have seen what they do, but I will heal them anyway! I will lead them. I will comfort those who mourn, 19 bringing words of praise to their lips. May they have abundant peace, both near and far,” says the Lord, who heals them. 20 “But those who still reject me are like the restless sea, which is never still but continually churns up mud and dirt. 21 There is no peace for the wicked,” says my God.
Our constant prayer to God must be for
"Mercy Lord"
The chapter and verses in Jeremiah quoted above specifically speaks to God’s restorative plans for the remnant even as the people were facing the invasion and captivity.
These are the words I speak to you now:
"Your time of restoration has come"
May we move from the conflicted place with what was and come into what God promised. Be settled in God’s promises. His answers to his promises are Yes and Amen (yes twice)
However dark your yesterday was - your today and future in God is bright.
May we move forward in faith because faith sees things how they will be - how God says
And not as they are.
Amen
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
