Who Are You Sold Out To?
As I listened intently to the Minister on Sunday, ministering on Psalm 1:1, “An Invitation to His Presence” was her theme; it had me searching myself. Her exposition of this scripture was based mainly on being either Godly or ungodly. Who are you sold out to?
Many of us believe that once saved always saved. Others believe we can just do good, be kind hearted and that’s enough to be in the will of God. Some believe that irrespective of the sins we commit, we will still see the Kingdom of Heaven. They are those that believe there is no God. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve, …., Joshua 24:15.
Who are you sold out to, are you Godly or ungodly? Being Godly is walking in light and light exposes darkness. There is no way we can be walking in light and feel comfortable living in sin and self-centeredness. Light produces the fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. If we find ourselves living in adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry. Witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulation, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envying, murders, drunkenness, revellings, Galatians 5:19-12, we are living in ungodliness.
Being sold out is giving God our everything, not trying to play it safe by living on the fence. If we are lukewarm, God will spue us out of His mouth, Revelation 3:16. Be ye sold out to God and God only, in Jesus’ name.
God Bless.
