What's in your heart? It comes out under "pressure"

Good day beloved friends

Does God dwell in your heart?

The answer to this question will be evident in what flows from our heart during times of pressure.....is it anger, unforgiveness, malice, strife, pride, resentment, fear and so many other responses.

Dearly beloved before God moves us to a new level in him he will prove our hearts.

We are all as God's children being processed and here is some good sound advise

Proverbs 4:23

Keep your heart with all diligence,

For out of it spring the issues of life

In order to do this though, we need to admit the truth and bring our unresolved issues before God. Many of us are in the place of saying, nothing troubles us. It cannot be the truth because even Jesus wept and to love with the Agape makes us vulnerable.

Unfortunately many of us are in the place of blaming others for our own responses.

Let us expound a bit on the verses above.

Keep your heart some translations say guard your heart. The responsibility is ours to keep our heart.

God wants us to be effective in his Kingdom...see the word Kingdom indicates dominion and rulership not of our own but for God's sake. We are his ambassadors here on earth.

If we have unresolved (buried issues) they will cause us to stumble in our relationship with God, affect our self acceptance and self confidence and even affect our relationships with others.

May we self evaluate and go before God in truth.

If we don't do this then there will be a door for the enemy to bring torment. I sure know he has amped up his tactics and a sure way I've seen him working is manipulating our old unresolved issues and bringing up the past in an attempt to wound and distract us.

God we ask you to cleanse and heal our hearts today, Oh God. We are yours and we want nothing to distract us or weaken us or be a tool the enemy can use. Strengthen us good Father, we are yours. Show us truth about our heart condition as the truth will cause us to walk in freedom. We take responsibility today, it is no one else's fault but our own. We come before you baring ourselves today for you to do the deep work in us.

Amen and amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again

Pastor J

Amen
