What is Your Attire, Are You Attired to Meet the King?

Are you washed in the Blood, in the soul cleansing Blood of the Lamb? Are your garments spotless, are they white as snow, are you washed in the Blood of the Lamb? Saints of God, I implore you today to do a thorough introspection, to see if you are clothed in garments fit to meet the King.

Psalm 51:7, “purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.” The sin of Bath-sheba caused David to write this song. The prophet Nathan told David of the sin he committed against God. 2 Samuel 12:7, “And Nathan said to David, Thou art that man, ….”

God is pointing at us today saying, thou art that man and woman. Because of sin our attire is tainted and just like it is in the secular, so much more in the spiritual. When stain, sin have marred our attire we need to clean it. Spiritually, these stains can only be cleansed by the blood of the Lamb. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us of our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness,” 1 John 1:9.

Beloved of Christ, I pray you ask God to “search me O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: and see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting,” Psalm 139:23-24. Are you attired to meet the King?
