The best life is one where God is our priority and we keep our focus on eternity.
Luke 9
23 Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.24 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.25 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but are yourself lost or destroyed?26 If anyone is ashamed of me and my message, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in his glory and in the glory of the Father and the holy angels.27 I tell you the truth, some standing here right now will not die before they see the Kingdom of God.”
In these perilous times God has got to be our priority. The messages I have been preaching and writing here are to allign you with purpose, for you to cast of limitations which come from our own mindsets and for you to grow deeper in God.
If we understand biblical Escatology, we will realize that the signs are all imminent for the second coming of Christ. Do we prepare for death and judgement or give way to fear?
I totally disagree with the "Doom and Gloom" Theologists and Prognosticators.
No matter what faces us today, we have something to look forward to in God through Christ Jesus.
Our lives and end are in God's hands.
If we die we will be absent from the body and present with the Lord, even on our worst days (facing persecution we still have God's grace keeping us)
AND we do have a major event to look forward to:
The Rapture! Over and over again I have studied this topic and the truth is this will happen pre-tribulation.
So while we wait, may we:
Enjoy our days in God - in his presence there IS fullness of joy and at his right hand pleasures for evermore
Give God glory in all, in whatever we do, even our eating and our drinking
Live fulfilling purpose, which includes receiving empowerment to win souls and influence many for Christ's return.
Chose Joy today!
Savour each day in God!
Live life to the fullest, don't live preparing for death but LIVE!
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
