What are we living for?

Mark 8

34 Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me.35 If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it.36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

These are certainly perilous times that we are living in. Not one person can say they were not in some way affected by this Corona Virus Pandemic.

If we are listening to the media and man's report - we would definitely spend our days giving way to fear and thinking of death.

What to do?

Our days need to be spent working out the salvation of our soul with God, through Christ Jesus. That is a very good place to be, to be in relationship with God - A place of safety, joy and peace.

Religion is ritualistic . As you grow in knowing God, you will discover he certainly does have a sense of humour. He created in man the capacity to have Joy, and gave us the ability to smile, to sing, TO LAUGH.

I can't imagine what my days would be like without God and without laughter.

Why can we have joy, smile and have laughter?

Simply because we are established in God's love. In Christ we are promised AN ETERNAL PLACE OF REST and the day we accepted Christ we were repositioned from death into life, the life more Abundantly. There is Joy in the Lord..it is a dimension in God, which flows from the fruit of the Spirit......LOVE. God holds us in his warm embrace. Even in adversity we can smile because we know that ALL things are working for OUR GOOD and GOD’S GLORY.

I pray you will discover God in a new way. That he will restore your soul. He will restore your peace and your joy. That you will LIVE and not just wait for death.

Go look in the mirror and smile.....what you see there is someone who GOD KEPT AND STILL KEEPS

Enjoy your days in God!

Live the Life more Abundantly

Walk Good in Christ

Till we meet again
