Genesis 22 begins "AND GOD TESTED ABRAHAM".
God will test us but, take courage because he already has the reward set out for THE AFTER WE HAVE PASSED THE TEST.
May we not miss God
Sometimes walking through a test one can be speaking to the devil or responding in our emotions when it was in fact God testing us
Dueteronomy 8 outlines one of the reasons God tests us. He wants to know what's in our heart.
If we choose God above all else, even when facing so many challenges, brokenness and even above all in this world, then we have a place of belonging for all eternity. Nothing will ever lead us away from God, there will never be another rebellion in heaven, as there was when the anointed cherub Lucifer rebelled and took one third with him.
The test was never to cause you to fail, as some would cry out "God how much more?"
May you gain strength in God today, may he grant you such grace and peace in the midst of the storm in Jesus name. Amen.
Please note God never spoke to Jesus during his wilderness test, but yet Christ already knew God and was able to draw strength from his Father, he spoke the word concerning every test he faced. His testing was just before his ministry began.
If you are being tested, ask God what lessons you need to learn and ask him to strengthen any weak areas you may have.
May we come out on the other side of the test as outlined in Psalm
66
10 For You have tested us, O God;
You have refined us as silver is refined.
11 You brought us into the net;
You laid a heavy burden [of servitude] on [a]us.
12 You made men (charioteers) [b]ride over our heads [in defeat];
We went through fire and through water,
Yet You brought us out into a [broad] place of abundance [to be refreshed].
Promotion is on the horizon. You're coming out gold.
Walk Good in Christ

Till we meet again
