Christ suffered on that cross not only for us to have salvation but to have victory over every situation that confronts us. We have also been given the power to do God’s work and most all authority to deal use our spiritual weapons over ALL the power of the enemy.
Luke 10:19 AMP
Listen carefully: I have given you authority [that you now possess] to tread on serpents and scorpions, and [the ability to exercise authority] over all the power of the enemy (Satan); and nothing will [in any way] harm you.
We do not fight from a position of defeat but from a position of VICTORY. There IS a finished work at Calvary's cross.
Here are some scripture verses that will assure you of that finished work
Colossians 2:11 - 15 NLT
11 When you came to Christ, you were “circumcised,” but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision—the cutting away of your sinful nature.[c] 12 For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.
13 You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed[d] the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.
Sometimes it may not look that way, continue walking by faith and not by sight. One may even wonder how long Lord?
We may not understand God's timing. We see even the examples of Golioth taunting God's people for 40 days and there are many other examples of God's people facing various battles for a time as seen in his word. Let us be assured that God is right on-time. We will not be overtaken by the enemy.

Abbah Father
We have faced the enemy many times and you have always brought us through. You even fought battles for us that we weren't even aware of. We are assured of Victory through Christ Jesus in every challenge we face. Father we ask you to cancel every diabolical assignment against us. Would you dispatch the relevant rank and heirachy of angels to warfare on our behalf. Close every doorway to the enemy. Bring the enemy into open shame and defeat in Jesus name. Give us strategy for this season. You are the sovereign God, you rule and reign in victory and you have never lost a battle. We step into you Best. We walk good in Christ daily. Thank you Lord for victory in every area of our life.
