WARS & RUMORS OF WARS.
Many never consider how closely Bible events parallel our lives and the events in our current world. Indeed we are living in the last days. The Bible tells us this many times and one such verse where this is seen is in Matthew 24:7.
"For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in diverse places.”

Over the past 100 years the methods of warfare and the devices used have intensified causing more destruction and carnage.
There have been inventions that have completely changed the way wars are fought. For example, the atomic bombs, nuclear and biological weapons, radars, tanks, aircrafts, machine guns and poisonous gasses.
Weapons of mass destruction have improved drastically and technology has also been a fundamental part of this growth.
Land, air and sea were the places that superpowers competed for. However, recently the upper atmosphere has seen satellites with laser powered weapons.
The battlefield has come a long way since bow and arrows.
In the near future we will see artificial intelligence driven weapons.
Personally, I believe the image of the beast in revelation thirteen is artificial intelligence.
"The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads."
(Revelation 13:15-16)
I believe that for this prophecy to come true fully, the development of these weapons of abominations has to be fully developed and enforced. Just as the wars and rumors of wars are getting louder and spreading globally, so too are the parallels in the spiritual.
However, we must become focused on God in our minds, to the point where the wars and rumors thereof, doesn't shift our roots or uproot us, we must be grounded in God!, now more than ever.
Many will be purified, made spotless, and refined, but the wicked will continue to act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but the wise will understand. (Daniel 12:10)
My purpose is not to frighten anyone but to highlight the importance of setting our houses in order, as knowing the times, we persuade men about the value of their souls and where they will spend eternity. Those who are saved, we admonish you to keep your anchors held to the Rock of your salvation because the storms of life are all around us. Let us keep grounded and firm in Jesus.
“At that time Michael, the great archangel who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time everyone whose name is found written in the book will be delivered." (Daniel 12:1)
God's grace be upon you. We are encouraged to maintain a righteous relationship with Jesus Christ, as it is His will that none should perish but that all should come to repentance.
I pray that your strength in the Lord remains unshakable and your relationship with our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, be steadfast in your hearts.
