Users and abusers

How to deal with users and abusers

I searched and searched God before I wrote on this topic.

The word says love keeps no record of wrongs and truly the Spirit of Christ is the Spirit of reconciliation.

But some people cannot be around us as they will abuse us not physically but psychologically, mentally and emotionally.

The fact is there are Christians who are just believers that there is a Christ, but refuse to move from the place of "Gimme God" into the place of surrender and a loving relationship of submitting to OUR FATHER.

They live for themselves, believe the world centres around them and everyone should be there just to serve them.

These individuals give room to the Spirits or Pride and Narcissm. Will they ever surrender to God? He only knows.

We should be careful in listening to God when dealing with these individuals and bear in mind that every healthy relationship begins with setting boundaries and continues with true repentance and forgiveness from BOTH parties. God never meant as Christians that we should be "doormats" or for us to be used and abused. We should be as long suffering as God says, but he knows the heart of some, as they will remain in the place of using and abusing others. Never growing in the love of the Lord. These individuals are distractions and will continue to be tools the enemy can use to derail and drain us of the anointing.

Be wise, be discerning, ask God to remove anyone from your life who would hinder his process in your life, distract you from his perfect will and drain you with their demands.

In the first place we should allow God to choose our friendships. Jesus had 70, then the 12 disciples and finally 3 he drew very close. Not every one should be close to us. God knows the hearts.

Please note after Judas betrayed Christ he had no further contact with him (Before the betrayal he washed his feet) and Judas walked in his consequences of his choices, because of his unrepentant heart.

Please note the betrayal happened before the crucifixion and the resurrection. If you have been betrayed, you are in a good position for promotion in the Kingdom.

Love will cause you continue to pray for these individuals, but do not allow yourself to be manipulated by their many demands and accusations of "If you were a true Christian, you would do so and so (mainly do what they want)"

As you pray remember to forgive so you can walk free and bless them. Blessing means you confer God's will upon them.

Lord give us wisdom and discernment, cause us at this time to keep our focus. We will not be derailed or distracted in Jesus name. Move anyone from our lives who you do not wish to be there Lord we ask you in Jesus name. Amen

This is one topic I would love to hear from you about. Please respond in the comments below
