The power of thanksgiving

Updated: Oct 9

Good morning beloved

Thankgiving is the access point to God’s presence and the heavenly dimension. We enter his gates with thanksgiving (Psalm 100).

The place God exists is the place of the supernatural, the place of the miraculous, the place of overflow.

May we be a people who when we face problems - we still bring God thanksgiving, the sacrifice of praise - the yet praise. We may not understand but we trust God and we choose to praise him.

Look at the example of what Christ did when he was faced with a crisis - He had nothing to feed the multitudes with.

John 6

There is a lad here, which hath five barley loaves, and two small fishes: but what are they among so many?

10 And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

11 And Jesus took the loaves; and when he had given thanks, he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to them that were set down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they would.

12 When they were filled, he said unto his disciples, Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost.

13 Therefore they gathered them together, and filled twelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten.

Jesus had the multitudes to feed, he didn’t miss a moment (good Father, help thou our unbelief), he used what he had, gave thanksgiving unto God and then he not only had enough to feed the crowd, he had surplus left over.

When we give God’s thanks - little becomes much.

When we give God thanks we sow into abundance.

When we give God thanksgiving in the face of adversity, we are guaranteed turnaround.

But think carefully why do we give God thanksgiving even when things don't look so bright? Because we trust him completely and we have proved him to be a good Father.

Even on our worse days he still deserves our worship and adoration.

Even on our "worse days" WE DO have much to give God thanksgiving for.

Stop a moment my friends and just count your blessings - you will definitely realise you have much to be grateful for.

Thanksgiving automatically leads into praise and praise leads to Worship.

Worship is where the heavens are opened and the blessings are poured out.

Let us be mindful of these words every day:

1 Thessalonians 5

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Abbah Father

We give you thanks anywhere and everywhere. Anyhow and anytime we give YOU thanks.

We thank you in the morning in the evening and everytime

We thank you simply because you chose us, love us and care for us

We thank you good Father for causing all things to work for your glory and our good

Amen and amen

Walk good in Christ
