Sanctification

Good morning dear friends

I pray many of you will read this message, though it is not an "ear tickling" sweet message.

God is calling us into a higher standard at this time.

Let us be reminded that

In the beginning God created man for relationship and even though man sinned he made a way for man to be reconciled to him.

What have you done to remain in the presence of God?

Please do not fool yourself into thinking that God will have any part of sin or deception. Some I have encountered play a game of deception not realising how foolish they look to others who have the Holy Spirit indwelling them. It is sad to note that the once God dwelt in individuals and churches and even after God has left, they still believe God is there. These individuals call good evil and evil good.

God is a Holy God

Sanctify yourselves before him

Do you not know that your body is the temple of God and you are required to present yourself holy and acceptable before him (Romans 12:1/2)

I tell you today there are shakings all over the world...move out of that comfortable sinful place and sanctify yourselves before God.

Now I had not meant at all to write like this. I usually intend to comfort and encourage but this is how God is leading.

I pray as the church and God's people we will get back to basics - to the place of preaching and praying about repentance as Jesus did and so did the prophets of old. Repentance is of such importance that it was the first message that Jesus preached when coming out of the wilderness.

Wake up church wake up God's people!

Now as I was listening to God, let me put some statistics before you?

Is as much as 80% of the church in lukewarmness? Still doing good works but in lukewarmness.

Why does the church and individuals who confess Jesus, lack power and go about each day limping and defeated, seeming to be overtaken by worldly circumstances?

Because there is an area/areas of compromise in their life. Therefore they are not connected to the Spirit of God and will have no God-ordained authority over sickness, disease and infirmity, devils and demons.

We must move out of compromise and sanctify ourselves before we must not only feel sorry for sin but be broken about it.

2 Corinthians 7:8 to 11

8 For even though I did grieve you with my [a]letter, I do not regret it [now]; though I did regret it —for I see that the letter hurt you, though only for a little while— 9 yet I am glad now, not because you were hurt and made sorry, but because your sorrow led to repentance [and you turned back to God]; for you felt a grief such as God meant you to feel, so that you might not suffer loss in anything on our account. 10 For [godly] sorrow that is in accord with the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but worldly sorrow [the hopeless sorrow of those who do not believe] produces death. 11 For [you can look back and] see what an earnestness and authentic concern this godly sorrow has produced in you: what vindication of yourselves [against charges that you tolerate sin], what indignation [at sin], what fear [of offending God], what longing [for righteousness and justice], what passion [to do what is right], what readiness to punish [those who sin and those who tolerate sin]!

I pray you will sanctify yourselves before a holy God. In Jesus name. Amen.
