Trusting God in troubling times by Marcel and Jacqueline Bruff

Life's journey throws all kinds of things our way, both good and bad. Some unexpectedly, others by our own personal choices.

Our lives are a reflection of the ideals and faith we hold in our hearts. The things we spend time and energy on reveal what's really important to us.

Yes, God created us with free will, as such, we all have the freedom to make our own choice.

As water reflects the face, so one's life reflects the heart."

(Proverbs 27:19)

The condition of the heart is extremely important when it comes to making choices that impacts our lives and those around us.

There are basically two kinds of people in this world.

One who will seek to please and serve God, the other that rejects the will and ways of God.

For those who respect and desire God's way, God will always be in their corner.

Listen to what tbe Bible says about those who love God.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28)

"I will never leave you nor forsake thee" is found in three bible verses Hebrews 13:5, Deuteronomy 31:6, and John 16:7.

These verses encourage believers to be faithful even with what they are going through. Inspite of the difficulties and challenges, continue to fear and respect God. Do not be afraid of the Lord, but with reverential awe respect him.

God will not fail or forsake those that are his.

He's there to celebrate with you when things are going well, and to comfort you when you're struggling. He understands the grief, the anxiety, and the depression you might experience over the years. Oftentimes it is during these harder moments that you may be called to reestablish your relationship with God.

Regardless of where you are in life, right now is a good time to reestablish you first love.
