Trust God with all your heart

What do you do when everything seems to be falling apart?

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

At those times when it seems we get to "rock bottom", From that place there is only one direction to go and it is an upward movement.

I can definitely testify of that.

So let us think on these words carefully

Proverbs 3:5/6

5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall [b]direct your paths.

Trust his heart because he is a good Father

Even as I mapped out this message on Tuesday I had a really good lesson in trust yesterday.

I needed a new coffee machine and was supposed to get one of Facebook market place. Well after the hectic day of dealing with a guest and taking him back to the airport I forgot about it. So as I am leaving the Airport the WAZE navigator is clearly saying from the voice take the A453 to Nottingham (I usually double check whats on the screen though) I am too tired to be looking at the screen . I take the A453 and I hear the rerouting signal meaning I have not followed what it wanted me to do. On top of that I end up in a long line of slowly moving traffic, well when I am overly tired the feeling "sorry for oneself" starts kicking in. I am like WHY ME LORD? Father you know I can't deal with anything else today, Father I thought you choose my routes for me so why am I on the route to Grantham, 1 hour from home and I remind him again Father I am so exhausted. So 5 minutes into this drive I hear the voice of God - he reminds me about the coffee machine and he says stop and check the post code where this item was located. I stop in the lay by and it turns out the place is only 32minutes away from where I am. Just wow! Of course I repent and begin to thank God for the route he chose for me. Needless to say I got home in record time with my blessing - the new FANCY coffee machine and the gentleman gave me some "fancy" pods too about 20 ( this was unexpected) just wow. So needless to save I gave Papa thanksgiving all the way home.

Well so it is in our daily life God is trying to lead us down a pathway...it may involve bumps and bruises, a so called traffic jam ( which is really defined as a long season of waiting with lots of obstacles along the way) a bit of discomfort, twists and turns in the road and so much more. But nevertheless let us remember GOD HAS A SPECIAL BLESSING/BLESSINGS FOR US, at the end of that journey. Keep trusting him for he has good plans for us.

Haven't we proved God again and again before.

So in those trying times dear friends

Let's do these

1 Remind ourselves of all he has brought us through before

2 Worship God just because of who he is, no matter what we face, we want to see his face not just his hand

3 Keep his promises in our heart and mind, we must have vision for what is ahead or we will perish

4 Don't get into the "Why me mode" ask God instead for grace and strength. As we mature in Christ this will become like reflex as we certainly grow in trusting God.

5 Encourage yourself in the Lord.

God knows we would need encouragement and comfort along the way. Run to him for all you need - he will never forsake you.

6 Keep these words in your heart

Galatians 6:9

9 And let us not be WEARY in well doing: for in DUE SEASON we shall reap, IF WE FAINT NOT

Amen

If we faint not, means that sometimes we will have reason to feel like we will faint or feel weary but trust God in all.

Isaiah 12:2

Behold, God is my salvation,

I will trust and not be afraid;

‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song;

He also has become my salvation

Amen

I found a poem to share with you

Trusting God by Bob Gotti

I don’t know what will be, or what God has planned for me,

When I face certain needs, where ahead God’s Spirit leads,

Or what means, He will raise, for my needs in coming days,

But as God fills in the blanks, His Spirit fills me with thanks.

God has led me in times before, to what was a closed door,

Opening up that door for me, in ways, which I could not see,

So I must wait upon The Lord, for by God, I am not ignored,

For God will move in His time, in His ways, by God’s design.

The Lord’s Ways are not mine, for all God’s Ways are divine,

Far above what I understand, as He moves His Mighty Hand,

God moves in ways we cannot, when we are put on the spot,

To change the focus of our story, as God receives the Glory.

Planning from His Heavenly Court, The Lord will not fall short,

As He cares for all His own, from His Lofty Sovereign Throne,

With the king’s heart in His hand, for He rules over every land,

God shall take care of all of us, while we trust in Christ Jesus.

The Lord is not hampered by, our conclusions of how or why,

We can always trust God’s heart, to finish all that He will start;

God has purpose in all He wills, and every purpose He fulfills,

For the Glory of Jesus Christ, in each and every believer’s life.
