THE APOSTLE PAUL WRITES, “For just as the body is one and yet has many parts and, all the parts of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ” ( 1 Corinthians 12:12). The Apostle explains that though one part of the body cannot accomplish what another part can, this doesn’t mean it is any less important.
So it is with us. We are each unique and some may quote ‘different’ end of quote, and every difference represents a unique contribution we can make in serving the LORD.
Whether we are young or old, fluent in the English language ( as a first or second language) fortunate to have completed our scholastic goals or simply dropped out, our individual experiences and perspectives enrich the body of Christ.
Or as Paul says, “For by one Spirit we are all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we are made to drink of one Spirit” ( v. 13).
So often you hear someone declare: “I, me and myself; I don’t need anyone else.” Truth be told, we need one another in order to become and jointly fit the body of Christ.
We need each other in order to become and enjoy our true selves and, to bring God’s glory to and through the church. Lets look at something else the Apostle Paul said: “By this all people, all men will acknowledge and comprehend, that you are My disciples,” it gets better; Jesus said, “If you have love for one another” ( John 13:35). Beloved, we’re a triumphant family after all—one that spans the entire globe 🌎 oh glory to God; mind if I shout: Hallelujah, hallelujah; hallelujah, glory to the risen Christ; let’s give God some extravagant praise! Amen and amen 🙏🏽
Yours in Christ
