MANY PLANTS AND TREES GO DORMANT during the cold winter months however, do you know that indoor plants also take a rest? This happens because, like all living things, they have a biological clock. They simply stop growing outwardly in order to return stronger in the spring.
Like them, you and I experience difficult seasons—abundance and scarcity, joy and sorrow, gain and loss. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tell us, “There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven.” Thankfully, we serve a God Who holds all things in perfect balance, a God of order and perfection. ( Col. 1:16-17).
As we look around us, the world outside is in full bloom. Perhaps the same can be said of you. However, if the opposite is true of your life right now, take courage because “Weeping may endure for a night, and; you can get ready for a hilarious shout in the morning” ( Psalm 30:5).
Whatever season you’re experiencing, God is there too and; He stands—ready to delight in your breakthrough of growth and; He will hold you close until the dark days end, oh glory to God; hallelujah, hallelujah; hallelujah!
Soul Searching Session:
What might God want to take away from your current season? Could someone benefit from the things you’re learning? Remember, life is enveloped most often, in a ‘Learning Experience.’ His grace beloved.
