The wages of Sin Romans 6:23

Sin is the three letter word that has become offensive to millions in today's world.

How did we get this far? And when did the respect of God fade from our world?

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

(1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

It was not overnight that all the above sin became a normal part of society but many moons ago it gradually started and increased beyond our control.

Opposition towards a godly foundation started in the school and colleges by teachers of secularism and atheist professors respectively, who ignited the spark towards rejection of traditional Bible beliefs.

The movies in Hollywood add to the rapid erosion of moral, ethical standards spreading the fire to every home and community through the television and movies.

The written and electronic media condoned and promoted openness which added fuel to the flames of sin.

Politicians changing and passing new laws turn sin into a forest fire through legalisation.

Thereby the masses follow blindly sinning and kindling the flames of sinfulness.

Goosebumps on the skin and the hairs on the back of one's neck will stand to attention on the mere mention or preaching of sinfulness and the biblical consequences of anyone who do not repent and ask God for forgiveness of their SIN.

Personally I've experienced first hand aggressiveness towards myself in pointing out that the rewards of sin is eternal separation from God and hell fire.

I encourage preachers, evangelists, prophets and pastors to proclaim the true gospel of Jesus Christ without fear or favour.

Scripture clearly indicates that God hates sin and that He will punish sinners on the day of judgement when compassion will be taken away from the earth, then God will be judge and jury for all past and present generations throughout history.

God strategically placed things in motion and established a substitute to redeem mankind through the blood of his only son Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1John 1:9)

"As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

(Psalm 103:12)

For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

(Hebrew 8:12)

With the increase in knowledge and technology man is now able to travel farther than previous generations to the Moon and Mars, yet sin is still within his heart a destructive and violence nature unquenchable without the Deepness of God to satisfy.

In conclusion as we observe and study human history it is evidence that sinfulness is a recurring theme and the only solution is God's plan of redemption to deliver and save man from man himself through Jesus Christ.
