"...Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God."
(Genesis 6:9)
As I wrote this blog, I thank God for good Bible teachers that understood the culture and spoke Hebrew and Greek, they added clarity to the King James Version.
Year's ago I learnt that Noah's generation was perfect but in the Hebrew translation it actually meant that his biological blood line wasn't contaminated with Nephilim offspring's, giants, who were the heavenly beings who took women as wives and they conceived giants.
So God sent the flood to purge and protect human bloodline or DNA. God had to separate and preserve Noah's family because the Messianic promise was not yet fulfilled.
So in the fullness of time, God chose Mary's womb as a portal for Jesus Christ (incarnation) to be born of a virgin.
Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit to fulfil the agenda of the second Adam and bring mankind back to God.
"For as in Adam all die, so in Christ, all will be made alive."
(1 Corinthians 15:22)
This is another confirmation that from the Old Testament Scriptures, concealed in the old is revealed in the New Testament.
Genesis chapter three and verse fifteen, says, the seed of the woman would bruise the head of the serpent. Jesus's unique virgin birth clears up, "the seed of the woman"
Genesis 3:15 is also called the "Protoevangelium" it is a compound word of two Greek words, proto meaning "first" and Evangelion meaning "good news" or "gospel" protoevanglium is the first mention of the good news of salvation in the Bible.
The timeline from Noah's bloodline to Mary's virgin birth of our Lord Jesus Christ is all in chronological order with the will of the Father and his grand plans for the redemption of all humanity.
