The Rehabilitated
The rehabilitated is a person that has being restored. Restored to good health, a normal life or a condition of purpose after being incarcerated.
While in the ministry yesterday and feeding the less fortunate with spiritual and physical food, the need for rehabilitation became evident. The area we minister from is in front of a government funded home, a place where most of the people live. On alternate Wednesdays when we go, the people we come in contact with are people we see regularly. Most of times they are in a worst state than the last time we saw them. Is the government rehabilitating them?
Today I thank God for His continued rehabilitation. Sin has caused this rehabilitation process to be continual. Not until mortal put on immortality that sin will be done away with, 1 Corinthians 15:53-57. Salvation is what causes the rehabilitation, even though it’s a process. In Isaiah 1:16-17 the rehabilitated are require to, “wash you, make you clean; put away the evil from your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well and seek judgement….”
God showed me that many of us Christians who should be rehabilitated are not. We are like the people we see in the ministry. We have not moved away from the things that causes us to sin. The rehabilitated have to be in a position of rehabilitation, for the regeneration to take place.
Our complete restoration will be complete when we ascend onto heaven and assume the life we were created to have.
God bless.
