There is a wonderful pathway that is only accessible in God
The Pathway of Newness of Life
The Pathway of the Life more abundantly, The Pathway to Eternal Life with God.
Matthew 7:
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad and easy to travel is the path that leads the way to destruction and eternal loss, and there are many who enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow and difficult to travel is the path that leads the way to [everlasting] life, and there are few who find it.
Please note the words many in verse 13. Many travel on that road (pathway) to destruction.
And in verse 14 few travel along that narrow road (pathway) leading to everlasting life.
Only God can lead us along that pathway and access to this pathway begins with repentance.
Repentance is turning away from the old pathway leading to death and turning to God's way of life, everlasting life. So many have been conditioned to accept "worldliness" as a good way, not even realising the end result of this "old way" leads to death ie. Seperation from God and eventually for all eternity.
Let us search for truth and the real truth can only be found in God.
No one comes to the Father unless God first draws him and THEN if one surrenders him or herself to God wholeheartedly, God will awaken him to his state of sinfulness and give that one truth in the inward parts.
Truth is a necessary component of the dynamic Christian life as otherwise sin originating from wordliness, the self and the devil will seem so "attractive".
I pray that God will awaken us to truth.
All sin has consequences and it is with much concern that I see so many who say they are believers but they are not born again who continue to walk in bondage and torment. The cycles and repetitive destructive patterns never seem to end, because sin "harnesses" one. Of concern too are the one's who are so comfortable in and blinded by sin.
Please just don't continue in the old way saying God has not answered your prayer. He wants you to move from the old and come into the new.
Listen to these words carefully
I have used a simplified version the NLT so that you can get a clear understanding
Romans 6
Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? 2 Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it? 3 Or have you forgotten that when we were joined with Christ Jesus in baptism, we joined him in his death? 4 For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives.
5 Since we have been united with him in his death, we will also be raised to life as he was. 6 We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. 7 For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. 8 And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. 9 We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 When he died, he died once to break the power of sin. But now that he lives, he lives for the glory of God. 11 So you also should consider yourselves to be dead to the power of sin and alive to God through Christ Jesus.
12 Do not let sin control the way you live;[a] do not give in to sinful desires. 13 Do not let any part of your body become an instrument of evil to serve sin. Instead, give yourselves completely to God, for you were dead, but now you have new life. So use your whole body as an instrument to do what is right for the glory of God. 14 Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
15 Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living
There is a new pathway in God and along that pathway there is peace, joy, forgiveness, freedom, abundant life so much more.
All those things we filled ourselves with in the world and conditioned our mind to believe it is good, pales in comparison to the glory of God.
In this dispensation and age that we exist one can even experience the tangible presence of God and I tell you once you've had such a "God-encounter" you will be changed forevermore and you will thirst desperately after God.
I pray that you will experience God in a new way, a new dimension with a fresh outpouring from him
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
