The Need for Reliable People
“But Moses hands got heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun,” Exodus 17:12.
It is so evident, the need for reliable people around us. We are constantly in battles, much more so today than ever and it will get harder. Ecclesiastes 9:11, “…., that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, …. But time and chance happeneth to them all.”
This race called life, not only affects those that are considered weak, whether physically, mentally or spiritually but also the strong. Irrespective of your wisdom, knowledge and understanding of life, life sometimes throws us curve balls. Without a Hur and an Aaron to help us during these times, the devil will prevail over us.
The Amalekites are on a mission to destroy the children of God. The name Amalek means enemies of the Israel. The Israelites are God’s chosen people, so are Christians today. Amalek’s have vowed to wipe out Christianity. But there is coming a day when every enemy of the children of God will be destroyed. Until then, we need reliable people around us.
God Bless.
