The greatest miracles begin with Thanksgiving

God is our wonderful Father in Heaven - Hallowed be his name!

Our Father provides our needs

Our Father works miracles on our behalf

Our Father is truly our all in all

But there is only one way to come into his presence - with thanksgiving!

So the prerequisite before we can even ask in faith is to give him thanksgiving

Psalm 100

1 Shout joyfully to the Lord, all the earth. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness and delight; Come before His presence with joyful singing. 3 Know and fully recognize with gratitude that the Lord Himself is God; It is He who has made us, not we ourselves [and we are His]. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

4 Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving And His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name. 5 For the Lord is good; His mercy and lovingkindness are everlasting, His faithfulness [endures] to all generations

Some may say but how, in these trying perilous times?

We worship God whether times are good or bad

We worship God not just for what he can do for us, but for who he is

Here is one of the biggest reasons to give God thanksgiving though he is the sovereign God, who rules and reigns in victory and he has chosen to Tabernacle with us as Our Father!

If we really think about life though, even at our worst moments we have much to give God thanksgiving for.

His mercies are new every morning, great is his faithfulness!

His lovingkindness never fails!

It is no wonder the Psalmist David was able to give thanksgiving, praise and worship even at his lowest moments - he had certainly seen the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living

So yes the greatest miracles start with thanksgiving because an attitude of gratitude stems from a heart full of faith, which pleases God. Then when one is positioned in Faith, God rewards such a one - he pours out blessings.

So when you think you may faint,

If the mountain looks too high to climb or

If the giant "looks" too large

Just begin to count your blessings and then, you will find, thanksgiving will flow automatically from your heart.

When we count your blessings:

We will remember all he has done and brought us through (past tence)

We will be grateful for todays (Present tense) spent in his presence and

We will be grateful for all he will do (future tense) because all his promises assure us of greater things ahead just because we know he is in our tomorrows and as he said he will be with us, until the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20)

For all the times of our life we can thank God

I find all throughout the day unconsciously I am just saying these words thank you Lord. It will become a habit if we constantly practise this

Try it, it will make the world of a difference

THANK YOU LORD

May this be our stance as we obey these instructions

1 Thessalonians 5:16 - 18

16 Rejoice always and delight in your faith; 17 be unceasing and persistent in prayer; 18 in every situation [no matter what the circumstances] be thankful and continually give thanks to God; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

THANK YOU LORD

Amen

Walk Good in Christ

Till we meet again
