The Goodness of God
At 14 years old I received the Holy Spirit and I became aware of the Goodness of God.
As I matured and grew spiritually, I consciously understood the limitlessness and vastness of God's goodness that flows from his love.
Everything good comes from God (James 1:17). This verse states that every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from our heavenly Father, who does not change like shifting shadows.
The perfect example of God's goodness, is the sacrifice he made of his son Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for the sins of humanity in order to give us the gift of eternal life.
God's goodness enables us to endure trials because he's working all things out for his glory, and our benefit (Romans 8:28–29). He uses hardship to produce in us endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3–5).
God's goodness is eternal and unchangeable even if you are physically or mentally challenged, persecuted or even incarcerated. God's goodness stays the same even if you're sick and in the hospital. God's goodness is the same even if you're lying in a casket.
Our state of being, whether physical, spiritual or emotional, cannot alter or change the goodness of God.
