The Glory of God Shines in the Natural
While praying one day, the Lord prompted me to call a Pastor I work with in the ministry. The day prior, she visited and she had a very natural look about her. Her demeanor, her appearance and posture depicted the Glory of God. The Lord said, His glory is evident in the things that’s natural. Everything God created is natural and expresses the Glory of God.
The Glory of God is the visible manifestation of God’s splendor, His beauty and His character. The Jewish word for glory is Shekinah and it means, to reside with or to dwell. The Shekinah Glory of God should reside in us and radiate through us.
The Glory of God was revealed to us in the creation story, Genisis 1:1-31. In verse 32, “and God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good.” God’s glory was reflective in His natural creation. Sin entered and changed the natural beauty of creation, 3:6, which expresses God’s Glory. Sin hides the Glory of God. “For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God,” Romans 3:23.
Isaiah 60:1, “arise, shine; for the light is come, and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.” Is there anything blocking the God’s Glory in your life? Is there anything unnatural that’s blocking God’s attributes to be evident in you?
God Bless.
