The Genders
It literally brings tears to my eyes to think about what we have done to the human race. This is one that hits home with me. I also realize it is a conversation the Church very rarely have with its congregation.
In the first chapter of Genesis verse 25 God said, “let us make man in our image, after our likeness.” Chapter 2 then explained how this creation took place. “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul,” vs. 7. In vs. 22, God created woman with the rib that was taken from Adam.
My friends, we cannot walk blindly in the world today, we have to have knowledge of what is happening around us. With this knowledge we can pray asking God for direction in how best to handle this growing situation. There are now several different gender identities, not just male and female, man and woman. There is transgender, gender neutral, non-binary, agender, pangender, genderqueer, two-spirit, third gender, to name a few.
I listened to a small clip sent to me about this person who identifies as non-binary. She spoke about people referring to her in the pronoun, they or them. She talked a little about her home life and how everyone that lives there is either non-binary or transgender. The most touching part of her interview was, she has two children living among them. If that wasn’t enough, she is married and also in another relationship with transgender and they all live in the same house.
One of her children is 4 years old and the other is 6 years old. After exploring all options the 6 year old decided she wants to be non-binary and the 4 year old is identified as antigender, meaning of no gender yet. “For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, ….” Romans 1:26-27. My friends, this is what is being tought to our children today, may God help us.
God Bless.
