The Fulfiller of Promises.
“The Parable of the Master Builder.”
A master builder was hired to construct a magnificent palace. He promised the king that the palace would be completed in three years. The king, skeptical but trustingly, agreed.
Year after year, the master builder worked,
tirelessly, fulfilling his promises.
In the first year, he laid the foundation (past promise).
In the second year, he constructed the walls and installed the windows and doors (present promise).
In the third year, he completed the roof, painted the building adding all internal fixtures, exceeding the king's expectations (future promise).
The king asked, "Master Builder, how did you keep your promises?"
He replied, "I didn't just build a palace; I built trust. My word is my bond, and I am faithful to my commitments."
Similarly, Jesus Christ, the Master Builder of our lives, fulfills His promises, establishing an unshakeable foundation of trust.
"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are all 'Yes' in Christ. And so through Him we say 'Amen' to the glory of God" (2 Corinthians 1:20).
Jesus Christ, the embodiment of God's faithfulness, has been fulfilling promises since the dawn of humanity. As the trustworthy Creator of the universe, God's word is steadfast and true. In Christ, we find the ultimate assurance of His eternal promises.
