As I began Thanking God (as this is how I start each day) I began to think carefully on how richly we are favoured and blessed by God. In counting our blessings we have so much to thank him for. The blessings far outweigh those trials and answers we are waiting for.
Let us think - God didn't shower us because we are good but because of his great love and mercy for us.
So our simple prayer today is - Thank you Lord for your mercy, thank you Lord for everything. Thank you Lord that your mercy endures FOREVER
Psalm 136
136 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
2 O give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.
3 O give thanks to the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.
5 To him that by wisdom made the heavens: for his mercy endureth for ever.
6 To him that stretched out the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.
7 To him that made great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever:

26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Thank you Lord that because of your great mercy we experience you afresh this day, this week and this year.
Thank you Lord that your mercy prevails in our lives and our families (those born of blood and our family through Christ)
Thank you Lord for your great mercy endures FOREVER.
