Rise Again

Good morning Beloved friends

Proverbs 24:16

For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes

Look at the words carefully fall and rise. Imagine falling - the posture indicates no longer standing ie moving from our position of victory.

Proverbs often makes comparisons between the righteous and the wicked. I did a study many years ago and found God was talking to HIS PEOPLE. Who is defined as the wicked? Those who stray from God's law and walk in their own ways. One may believe there is a Christ but so do the demons and they fear and tremble. One's believing should lead into righteousness and "right living" as dictated by God’s standdards and not our own.

I digressed a bit but let me go back to the verse above.

The falling may be a result of the natural causes of living in a fallen world - the righteous are not exempt from these causes and results.

The fall may be because of our own sinful choices. My friends do not stay in that place, God has given us an easy "out" called repentance. Not just saying sorry, but turning away from the pathway leading down to destruction and death. Death first begins with being seperated from God. It is just amazing because I have seen so many going down that pathway and couldn't even see that they were sperated from God. Here are some sobering thoughts - all sin(even the secret ones) has consequences. Please pay attention to the following: and unrepentant sin leads to a place of Spiritual blindness see the examples of David (with the sin of Bathsheba and the murder of Urriah) and Samson with the sin of Dehlilah.

Lord help us, lord help me - I never ever want to seperated from God and not to hear his voice clearly.

Let us allow God to search our hearts today, show us if there is any wicked way in us and lead us in the way everlasting.

It is good my friends to have accountability partners and live and walk in transparency.

If you've fallen don't stay in the place of condemnation, you don't have to at all. Repent and God will restore you. Listen to what I will share below:

The significance of falling “seven times” could simply refer to falling frequently or many times. But the number seven is often a symbol of completeness or perfection in Scripture. It may illustrate here that, no matter how many times a righteous man falls and no matter if his fall seems to be completely and utterly irreversible, the setback is only temporary. He is destined to rise again.

Amen

YOU ARE DESTINED TO RISE AGAIN.

In the name of Jesus

Rise again

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again
