Remove The Cluster Of Negativity That Surrounds Us
Remove that which is old so as to make room for the new. New wine cannot be poured into old bottles. A message the Lord gave me while on a prayer meeting the other day.
What happens on our external affects us internally and that which is external is temporary. That which is internal is placed there by God through our believing in Him hence receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. If we focus on the negativity externally it becomes a cluster, eventually becoming a heavy weight. Now, every heavy weight reduces the activity of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Are you surround by a cluster of negativity? “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your soul,” Matthew 11:29.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new,” 2 Corinthians 5:17. The thing is, we have to live in the newness that Christ offers and not in the cluster of disappointments, unforgiveness, deceit and every other stresses of life. These circumstances reduce our growth in God. “For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light,” Matthew 11:30.
Today I pray we don’t hoard our negative experiences, the garbage life throws your way, they will inevitably become a cluster, which would lead to death. Dead to the things, the operation and the movement of God. I pray we will renew the newness of Christ because “they are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness,” Lamentations 3:23. Paul said, “…. let us lay aside every weigh, …. and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Hebrews 12:1. I echo this in Jesus’ Mighty Name.
God bless.
