Rejoice always

Could it really be possible to rejoice always?

It could!

As we think of our main reason for rejoicing:

We have been adopted as sons and daughters of the most high God. We are joint heirs with Christ. We are recipients of grace from the most high God.

It gives me such joy whenever I think that the all mighty, all powerful God should extend to us great grace and mercy and chose to pour out his love upon us and draw us close.

Look all around there is such beauty and magnificence in creation and at the same time there is such detail in every single element manifested.

I stand in such awe of God and it is this that should cause us to rejoice, give Thanksgiving, praise and worship.

And then God takes us into deeper dimensions in him as we grow in the knowledge of him, he provides for us, protects us, takes care of all we need, he really blesses us beyond measure.

The list could go on and on about all the reasons to rejoice always, the main reason being that we are IN GOD.

Remember too we have an eternal home.

Rejoicing is definitely a state of mind and heart, connected in relationship to our Father.

Yes today we may face challenges

We may be buffeted by the enemy

We may have troubles

But let us keep our focus on God

The scripture verse begins with

Rejoice always and the next few words give us the keys to rejoicing always - pray without ceasing! Praying without ceasing is the place of abiding in God's presence. IN EVERYTHING give thanks for this is the will of God concerning you (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Every day there is something (or someone) who could distract or disturb us.

But let us choose to remain in God's peace and joy.

To give Thanksgiving

To rejoice always!

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again
