People pleaser or GOD pleaser?

People Pleaser or GOD Pleaser?

If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels.” (Mark 8:38 )

We have to make up our minds, as Jesus did, that we will please God rather than please people, regardless of what the circumstances and consequences are, knowing that people who don’t belong to Him will often slander, and revile us for doing so.

Aren't we the salt of the earth?

Aren't we the light of the world?

"For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.  It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.  But everything exposed by the light becomes visible and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.  This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,

    rise from the dead,

    and Christ will shine on you.”

(Ephesians 5:8-14)

  Look around you, the devil is running rampant in our world today. Jesus clearly said if we are ashamed of him, he will be ashamed of us when he comes in his Father's glory.

In the past persons who have remained silent allowed the evil to consume others, but "knowing the peril we must persuade men". The judgment of God is coming and although hell was originally prepared for the devil and his demons, the rebellious and wicked will go there as well.

The apostle Paul spoke well regarding this topic, he stated;

“For am I now seeking the favor of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ” (Galatians 1: 10).

We must realize that this applies to different situations arising in our lives and in these times we must choose only one.

The apostle included;

"Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel. As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ." (Philippians 1:12-13)

In the above verses, Paul’s chains is what is being used to advance the Gospel!

The serious question here beloved,is, are you willing to be imprisoned for Christ's sake?

Or will you become afraid, or ashamed of Jesus and deny him.

The apostle Paul concluded;

"Christ will even now, as always, be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain” (Phil. 1:20-21).

The serious question here beloved, are you willing to be killed for Christ's sake?
