Hebrews 10:36
Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that he has promised.
The words Patient and endurance together seem like such a nightmare in this fast paced "microwave" age.
Many go out of God's perfect will plan and purpose because they just can't wait on God. They desperately try financial "quickies" or yoke themselves sexually to (more than willing) unbelievers. All the time asking God ... please fix this Lord. There are always consequences when we walk out of God's perfect will and sometimes it might be a bit too late, when we begin walking through the pain of these soulish choices and it even causes us much discomfort because we have got to go to the "starting line" again.
It is wisdom to wait on God's perfect timing.
I challenge you to not only wait on God but to wait IN HIM. Abiding in him, rejoicing always. Rejoicing always starts with simply having an attitude of gratitude. I tell you my friends, no matter how bad it may look there is much to give Thanksgiving to God for.
Take some time this moment to "count your blessings" and remind yourself how far God has brought you along. When I sometimes begin to feel sad, I do these two things and automatically I get into to Praise and Worship - rejoicing in the Lord.
God is with you
God is for you
Wait patiently on his timing
Trust his heart even when you can't see his hand
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
Bye for now
