Observe All Things
The word of the Lord in Matthew 28:20 states, “teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.”
This statement was made by Jesus and recorded in the book of Matthew as the last statement made by Him. Jesus’ message to His disciples was to teach, “all nations” all the things He thought them. He also cemented it by saying, He will be with them always.
While observing this statement, I realize the same is mandated to Ministers of the Gospel today. “All things” here encapsulate everything pertaining to life and Godliness. The Church must be informed. The Bible teaches us how God wants us to live in today’s world, by exposing all the negative things that were being done then. Contrasting it with commands, precepts and concepts for us to follow. The thought by many non-Christians now is, the Bible is for then, not now.
Without us observing all things that’s happening around us, we will not be informed. Being informed actually builds up a believer’s faith in Christ. Is the word made practical in the messages we hear today? How many Ministers are showing its practicality? Are we truly observing all things?
God Bless.
