Topic :Never Ever Stop Praying
Scripture: And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth? Luke 18:7-8 (NKJV)
MESSAGE FOR THE DAY: prayer is a commandment, not a choice. The scripture says, 'When you pray,' not 'If you pray' (Matt 6:6). Prayer not only changes things; it also changes the people who engage in it with their whole hearts. In Luke 9:29, the Bible says, "As Jesus prayed, the appearance of His face was altered." The plan of God for you is Open Doors, but every plan and purpose of God for His people stands to be resisted by the devil and his cohorts. (1 Cor. 16:9). This is why you have to put up a fierce fight against the forces that are out to resist your advancement (Deut 2:24).
Our Lord Jesus said in our focal text that the LORD will avenge His people who won't stop praying to Him; He will avenge them speedily. Therefore, there is a guarantee of Open Doors when you intensify your prayers. However, you must realise that this type of prayer is not weak or mindless. On the contrary, it must be intense and heartfelt. The prayers that compel God's attention must take the whole of you, and you don't stop until you have received your answers. This was the approach of the widow Jesus told us about in Luke 18:1–8. She stood her ground vehemently until the unjust judge granted her request. It's only concerted prayer that always gets the job done. The LORD has said that if you intensify your prayers, then He, the God of Open Doors, will answer you speedily.
