Good morning I speak to you on these verses today:
James 1:5 - 8
5 If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask [for wisdom] in faith, without doubting [God’s willingness to help], for the one who doubts is like a billowing surge of the sea that is blown about and tossed by the wind. 7 For such a person ought not to think or expect that he will receive anything [at all] from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable and restless in all his ways [in everything he thinks, feels, or decides].
Yes wisdom should undergird every action we take and every decision we make, let us dissect these verses not only in relation to wisdom but apply these words to all areas of our lives.
May God deliver us completely of any doubt and undergird our heart, mind and soul with total trust, hope, faith and expectancy.
How does one know they have moved away from the place of FAITH?
What is your focus? Is your focus on the challenges, problem or trouble? Or are your eyes fixed and focused on God and what he said?
What comes out of your mouth? What are you speaking? If you believe God and are standing in full faith, then it will be almost impossible to speak in allignment to the responses of the five senses as being the absolute total truth and final answer. It is okay to say "I feel....BUT I know what God said and therefore I will overcome in Jesus name"
Does the peace of God undergird your mind and heart? If moving ahead and there is such turmoil within. Then usually one is not alligned to God’s perfect will and therefore will not necessarily be in faith
Are you growing in God? Are patterns continuing in your life? Sometimes we may need to wait on God’s timing, but may we not be like the children of Israel because of unbelief and doubt the "journey" can take as long as 40 years.
Ask God to purify your faith, ask him to show you truth. Before you can overcome anything you've got to see truth about it in order to be able to confess it as not being God’s standard. THEN when we see truth we can repent (turn away), and allign ourselves with God’s truth - the pathway that leads into the life more abundantly THE TRUTH REALLY DOES CAUSE ONE TO WALK IN FREEDOM.
May God show us the truth and cause us to renounce fear, doubt and unbelief.
Amen
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
