Male and Female Created He

“In the beginning God created the Heaven and the earth,” Genesis 1:1, this marks the start of creation. In verse 27 the scripture went on to say, “so God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.”

“And God saw every thing that He made, and behold it was very good, ….” verse 31. What a powerful statement!

While transitioning from a baby to an adult our bodies and our minds goes through a developmental stage. During this time, as we come into our own, they are questions and even embarrassments we encounter. God is saying to us, regardless of any birth deficiencies or feeling of abnormality, we are created in His image. Whether Male or female.

In verse 27, the word created is mentioned three times, emphasizing this supernatural truth. In Biblical numerology the number three means completeness. We were created completely male or completely female.

David said in Psalms 139:14, “I will praise Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are Thy works….” God made no mistake when He created you either male or female.
