Love outweighs the Law

Many times we face a crossroads in this life and

Each day we need to make choices.

I ask God each morning to lead me in my choices.

An easy way to know if we are aligned to God's will, is we need to ask ourselves -

What would Jesus do?

What would love do?

It was for LOVE that God sent his only begotten son to die for us so we could be reconciled to him

It was LOVE that caused Jesus to bear the pain and shame of that cross, so ALL could be reconciled to the Father, through the acceptance of his son

GOD IS LOVE

So LOVE should govern our choices, thinking, speaking and actions.

Please note in understanding the God type of love includes correction and chastening.

For who God loves he chastens but even in his chastening he is merciful and gracious.

Should we not then, if our heart belongs to God, care about the lost and the dying, the hurting, the wounded the destitute. We are our brother's keeper.

Once again I will share these words here:

Matthew 22:34 to 40

34 Now when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced (muzzled) the Sadducees, they gathered together.35 One of them, a lawyer [an expert in Mosaic Law], asked Jesusa question, to test Him:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 And Jesus replied to him,“‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’38 This is the first and greatest commandment.39 The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself[that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’40 The whole Law and the[writings of the]Prophets depend on these two commandments.”

Father may Love not the Law govern our choices, thoughts and actions

In Jesus name

Amen

Walk Good in Christ

Till we meet again
