It is inevitable in this life that we will have conflict (differences) in our relationships.
God sometimes seperates individuals for the purpose of peace.
How we as Christians deal with conflict and seperations is truly a reflection of whether we have religion or RELATIONSHIP with God.
When the love of God overtakes one's heart how can we manifest HATE and it's by products of gossip and slander ie. speaking from one's own viewpoint, doing damage to another's character. (This may not always be done intentionally)
But it certainly comes as a guise, when someone does this "Let us pray for ......., you know what they did wrong"
1 John 4:20 Amplified Bible 20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates (works against) his [Christian] brother he is a liar; for the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
There are conflict resolution strategies in Matthew 18 as of verse 15
As I read these words by Minister Kevin A Morgan, I was led to share with as many as possible.
"When you stop talking to someone
Stop talking about them too.
The way you leave a season
Is the way you enter the next one"
Read that again it's deep and it is the truth.
If only individuals would be aware that whisperings, gossip and slander, will only hurt their ownselves in the long run.
Whisperings, gossip and slander are seeds sown and one will certainly reap the harvest in due season.
May we learn the wisdom of covering, praying and resolving conflict in a Godly manner.
You see love covers - covers the multitude of sins.
1 Peter 4:8 Amplified Bible 8 Above all, have [a]fervent and unfailing love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins [it overlooks unkindness and unselfishly seeks the best for others].
It would make such a difference if we extended mercy and showed true agape love, just as God extended UNDERSERVED mercy, grace and love to us.
We need to stand unified as the body of Christ and this is indeed a necessity in this season. Even if God seperates (as he sometimes does) if one is really are connected to the heart of the Father, one will continue in love and to bless those who may offend or do us wrong.
Those connected with the Kingdom of darkness are standing unified in the proliferation of evil, as they work tirelessly to bring about their "long ago planned" secret agendas.
What a difference it would make if we as the Body of Christ stood together in unity and fasted and prayed. Things would change. Unity doesn't always mean the absence of conflict, but it certainly does mean for the sake of Christ we continue to "cover" individuals even when we do not agree with them.
Amen
Bless you my friends
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
