Living Victoriously

God made us to live in victory..

God never made you to loose or be defeated. He made you fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14) and he made us with a special purpose and a divine destiny.

We live in a fallen world, but, he gave us all the "tools" necessary to live a victorious life.

He gave us his word as the very "blue-print" for every day living. He gave us his Spirit - the Holy Spirit and after being filled, we have the power to witness effectively and to overcome in any given situation. God gave us power and authority because he never intends for us to fail.

God has provided for all our needs, they are found IN HIM and in relationship with him. Call out his name and depend on him at any given time to receive from him. Jehovah Shalom - who gives us peace, Jehovah Jireh - who provides for all our needs, Jehovah Rapha - who heals us, Jehovah Tsidkenu - who sanctifies us. Please look up all his names, you will be surprised at how wonderfully God has provided for every need we have.

Imagine this too we have a Father who is not distant but he is always present with us. Would we but only abide in him? A clear "sign" that we are abiding in God is we hear his voice clearly, leading and guiding us.

God also gave us the ministration of angels to fight for us....if only we were aware of those unseen battles fought "behind the scenes" that caused us to stand in victory at this moment.

He gave us a "family" of believers, indeed he sets the solitary in families. God knew as a group we would certainly be effective in bearing each other up and a force to be reckoned with if we stand unified.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 - 12

9 Two are better than one because they have a more satisfying return for their labor; 10 for if [a]either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and does not have another to lift him up. 11 Again, if two lie down together, then they keep warm; but how can one be warm alone? 12 And though one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

Finally I will speak on Prayer.

I am in awe at this special gift God gave us though, called Prayer. A gift to keep us connected to him. No matter where or in whatever circumstances we find ourselves and no matter the time of day we can pray. We don't have to shout loudly we can whisper, even if restrained, cossetted, abused, in danger - we can pray and be assured that God not only hears but he answers prayer.

There is so much more that I could talk about - example: the gifts of the Spirit and much more. I would do pages and pages. But for now I will just close with the above pointers as those are the foundational tools for victorious living.

I am just in awe of this wonderful God who should choose to put us on this earth, for such a time as this.

Abbah Father, what a wonder that you should choose us to give you glory here on earth. May you empower the one reading this message and propell them into victory. Make them aware of the power and authority they have in you. Remove any hindrance, delay or obstruction that would stop them from fulfilling purpose and walking in destiny. Remove doubt, fear and unbelief I ask you Lord in the name of Jesus. Cause us to live victoriously for you daily and to trust you every moment. Thank you for your love, grace and mercy that prevails in our life amen.
