Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so
Isaiah 45:2 say, “I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:” Again, let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, we are rescued from the bondage and darkness of sin. The Lord God Almighty has now gone before us, paving the way for us to follow in His footsteps. The Lord has broken the cords and fetters of our affliction and loosed us from the bonds of Satan. Darkness has no more dominion over us and because of this, we can now walk by faith.
Redeemed, meaning bought back or rescued; Jesus claiming us as His own. Jesus, who was blameless and perfect, suffered criminally and humiliatingly on the cross to pay our sin debt. Colossians 1:13-14, “who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son: In whom we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”
Understanding this truth is extremely important, it causes our posture and confidence to be filled with grace. Jesus purchased us from the slavery of sin and in Him we have eternal life. Satan’s schemes and devices can cause us to lose track of whose we are. But we are redeemed! Let the redeemed of the Lord say so.
God Bless.
