Good morning my friends. Happy new week!
This morning I just want to remind you that the things we speak out of our mouth have creative power.
The word clearly says
Proverbs 18:21 amplified
Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words
Please look at those verses again. Think on them carefully.
Btw look at the verses before
Verse 20 says
A man’s stomach will be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth;
He will be satisfied with the consequence of his words
I heard the Lord say many of you - your tongue needs deliverance. There is no way to speak this, but we must help each other with the truth. Many of you are walking through the harvest of the words spoken out of your mouth (some of these words were spoken so long ago). These words spoken have established evil altars in the realm of the Spirit and opened a wide doors to the enemy. You are now bearing the fruit of these words (seeds in the realm of the Spirit) with torment from the enemy.
The truth is as younger Christians many of us did things in lack of knowledge.
The enemy has no power in a believers life unless we give him power. How? By walking with unrepentant sin, unforgiveness or speaking in agreement with the thoughts the enemy plants in our mind, in opposition to the word of God. The word of God clearly gives us instructions to take captive our thoughts daily (2 Corinthians 10:5)
So how do we break free of these cycles of torment - it begins with taking responsibility. You are responsible for where you stand with God today, so please stop blaming others, the system or even God for the "bad" harvest or affliction you are walking through.
Today God wants to set you free - repent ie. Turn away from the old way of doing things and turn to God's way of doing things. Ask God as often as you need. Father let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you. Oh Lord our strength and our redeemer. Cleanse us from secret faults
Psalm 19:12 - 14
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.
Lets do one more thing before closing, look my friends at the examples in the word...the great patriachs and matriachs when confronted with challenges or trouble - spoke in allignment with God's will. Jesus when tempted in the wilderness, did not speak about how he felt, what he didn't have or how big the enemy was. He spoke God's word, because that was the only truth he knew. Is God's truth in your heart? Ask God to change your heart today. He will help you. Ask him for the grace and strength you need to come into allignment with his word.
It's time my friends, we are no longer "babies" it is time to come up higher. Will you say Yes Lord and do all he requires?
I pray you do because something good, awesome and miraculous is coming from God for you this week
