Can you imagine a life without joy, laughter, smiles, hugs?
God wants us to have joy and Jesus even spoke about our JOY being full some interpretations use the word overflowing instead
John 15:10/11
10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!
As I grow more and more in God, I begin to understand the suffering of the cross and that while we are in this world we will be challenged. When we begin to understand God's perspective on challenges then we will be at peace instead of thinking we have done something wrong when we are challenged and walking THROUGH trials.
We can gain from challenges:
We can grow spiritually
We can learn lessons
We can gain wisdom
We can build character
We can gain strength and
Most of all we prove this God who is with us in the fire, who takes us through the fire and most of all he can be glorified in ALL
As we grow in God we begin to realize that our Joy is not dependent on anything this world could give us and that joy is not just a feeling or an emotion, but it is a deep down state of the heart and soul connected to the Father in relationship
We have much to be grateful and joyful about.
We are established in and our roots grow deep in the Father's love and we know our everlasting place will be in HIS arms. That thought will even prompt us to smile right now.
Father I pray for anyone reading this post that you will fill them with such joy and peace. In Jesus name
Amen
Walk Good in Christ
Till we meet again
