Good morning friends
I just want to remind you that God still heals.
One of the names by which he is called is Jehovah Rapha
Jehovah-Rapha (more properly Yahweh-Rapha) means “The Lord Who Heals” in Hebrew. Jehovah-Rapha is one of the many different names of God found in the Old Testament.
The name Jehovah-Rapha appears in Exodus 15:26. God says to the people of Israel, “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.”
The covenant established there is still in operation.
We see the prophesy concerning this aspect of one the works of Jesus, death, burial and Resurrection in Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed
We see the fulfillment reiterated in
1 Peter 2
21 For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps. 22 He committed no sin, nor was deceit ever found in His mouth.(H)23 While being reviled and insulted, He did not revile or insult in return; while suffering, He made no threats [of vengeance], but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges fairly. 24 He personally carried our sins in His body on the [g]cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been [h]healed. 25 For you were continually wandering like [so many] sheep, but now you have come back to the Shepherd and Guardian of your souls.
Please note the words I have highlighted, it's finished at Calvary's cross. We have been healed hallelujah!
So what prevents us from receiving all that God promised.
1 What we have been taught. Many of us submit ourselves to the principles of this World unknowingly. Those principles are that as one gets older, we must take some kind of medication and submit to certain conditions.
These recommendations come from a place of individuals who are not of Godly inclination and though God can use Doctors they should not be our first and final option.
2 Our own doubt and unbelief which may come about because of the length of time we have waited on God
I stir faith in you today in Jesus name and I pray healing for you.
My life is a testimony of God's miracle working, healing power. God has healed me of high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease. He also gave me knowledge as to how to remain healthy and reverse the aging process.
I pray he will do the same for you.
Just listen to him, do all he says and wait carefully for his timing. I pray that God will give you strategy and bring you into wholeness so you can be effective in his Kingdom.
Thank you Lord for healing miracles and turn around testimony.
