How to Trust God in Troubled times

How to trust God in troubled times:When we search the word of God, God's people were always challenged.The challenges involved situations where the odds were always against them. So it is in our modern day society – there are daily challenges. The challenges may have names – financial challenges, debt, emotional issues, the death of a loved one, sickness, disease, infirmity and in this season we see the evolution of a new giant the Covid 19 virus and so much more. Each generation may have faced a particular type of giant and each generation may have thought well this can't get any worse.So what do we do in these times. Let us really lean God and trust him with all our heart. Here are some words that should encourage you.

Romans 5 Amplified

1 Therefore, since we have been justified [that is, acquitted of sin, declared blameless before God] by faith, [let us grasp the fact that] we have peace with God [and the joy of reconciliation with Him] through our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed).

2 Through Him we also have access by faith into this [remarkable state of] grace in which we [firmly and safely and securely] stand. Let us rejoice in our [a]hope and the confident assurance of [experiencing and enjoying] the glory of [our great] God [the manifestation of His excellence and power].

3 And not only this, but [with joy] let us exult in our sufferings and rejoice in our hardships, knowing that hardship (distress, pressure, trouble) produces patient endurance;

4 and endurance, proven character (spiritual maturity); and proven character, hope and confident assurance [of eternal salvation]. 5 Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.Hope in God he will never cause us to be disappointed. We need to assured of our final destination after this life journey

Is Jesus Christ the Lord of your life, whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Say this simple prayer to be reconciled to God:

Heavenly Father I come to you today confessing that I have sinned. Forgive me Father. I receive the forgiveness of sins and surrender all to you. I receive now the new life in Christ – a new heart and a new spirit. Lead me and guide me daily in Jesus name I pray Amen.

If you prayed that prayer and meant it with all your heart, you will be changed. Begin to study God's word daily and ask God to speak to you clearly.

God is the only one who can give us peace in these troubled times. You can trust him because he is faithful. There are so many examples of his faithfulness as we begin each day, the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, new birth continues and God just continues to pour out his love, blessing and all we need.

Perhaps you need to understand this aspect of God's character more then fill out the prayer request form and if you need a bible we will send one to you.
