He’s able, He’s able, I know He’s able, I know my God is able to carry me through. He healed the brokenhearted and set the captives free. He made the lame to walk again and He caused the blind to see. He is able!
“The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing,” Zephaniah 3:17. Our assistant Pastor ministered to us on Sunday from this verse, his focus was on the 4 He will’s;
1/ He will save
2/ He will rejoice over us with joy
3/ He will rest in His love
4/ He will joy over us with singing
Our God is able! This scripture assured me that irrespective of the situation I am in, if I keep my eyes on Him, He will. Whatever the difficulties are today God is able to save you. After saving you He will rejoice over you with exceeding joy. He will then rest in His love; rest because that specific job is accomplished and done through His great love. “God is love,” 1 John 4:8.
The thought of God rejoicing over me with singing brings me so much comfort. It expresses His unconditional love for me. Saints of God, the joy of the Lord is our strength and it causes singing which leads to true worship. Whatever circumstances you find yourself in right now, let go and let God.
“Thou (He) hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth and clothe me with gladness.” Psalm 30:11. He’s able!
God Bless.
