Dear friends am led to encourage you with these words on standing today
Ephesians 6:10 - 18
King James Version
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
We are also given the instruction to stand firm in the faith in 1 Corinthians 16:13
In a particular battle where the children of Israel were outnumbered and it looked impossible, they were given the instruction TO STAND STILL AND SEE THE SALVATION OF THE LORD (Exodus 14:13)
Standing my friends is a position of Victory!
God never meant for us to be defeated in any battle we fight
Here are a few strategies for victory in the daily battle we face:
1 The battle armour is about putting on "Christ". If we trust in our own strength we will loose. We must be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might
2 In the Lord....living for him, surrendered to him, living moving and breathing IN HIM
3 We must remember at all times the battle is not ours but the Lords.
4 Standing means trusting God, we will not be broken and bowed down because God will take us through into victory
5 Standing in faith is possible because we recognize God's sovereignty and also that HE IS allmighty and all powerful
6 Stand on his word and his promises, he never lies and he is true to his word.

Friends, God has given us everything we need to stand victorious against the enemy’s schemes. All we have to do is stand. Stand on His Word. Stand on His promise that declares we are “more than conquerors through him who loved us” (Romans 8:37, NIV). Stand on the command of Jesus to “take heart” because He has “overcome the world” (John 16:33, NIV). Stand on the truth that He will “fight for you against your enemies to give you victory” (Deuteronomy 20:4, NIV).
Let’s declare it with our mouths and believe it in our hearts. After you’ve done all you can, just stand!
