“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right Spirit in me,” Psalm 51:10. “He that hath clean hands and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation,” Psalm 24:4-5.
Guard your heart! Luke 6:45 says, “a good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.”
After conversion our sin nature is destroyed totally, we are made clean through the washing of the blood of Jesus. We still sin occasionally because sin was our birth place but there is coming a day when our eternal home will free from sin. This is a call for Christians to realize that there are Biblical doctrines being taught that it’s alright to sin, please don’t fall for this lie. Keep your eyes on God and the things of God, remember “a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump,” Galatians 5:9. A little sin leads to more sin which leads to separation from God.
Like a soldier on duty, nothing that’s unauthorized can enter the premises he or she is guarding. We are soldiers of God, in the army of God. We need to guard our hearts from the things that will destroy our heart. Guard what your hands touch, guard where your feet goes, guard what your mouth speaks, guard what your eyes see and guard yourself from people who are not of the household of faith. If satan can get to your heart, he most definitely have gotten to you.
God Bless.
