2 Corinthians 4:7 - 12 amp
7 But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty], so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves. 8 We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair; 9 hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone]; struck down, but never destroyed; 10 always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown in our body. 11 For we who live are constantly [experiencing the threat of] being handed over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body [which is subject to death]. 12 So physical death is [actively] at work in us, but [spiritual] life [is actively at work] in you.
I am learning more and more what it means to live the life detailed above.
I am learning that for a Christian and a minister, it doesn't get any easier but it sure does get better in Christ
I am learning in a sense "how to dance in the rain"
Externals and the pressure may mount at times but I have certainly learned the only way is to lean on the everlasting arms.
When I look back as I to reflect on all the experiences I have been through in the last few years, I would emphatically state
All those things that I have been through for the last few years, months and weeks, I would surely have fainted, lost my mind or died if it were not for God’s amazing grace, love, sustenance and mercy. My life has become a testimony of the miracle working sustaining power of the one true and living God.
YET I have seen the rise in the anointing of a Woman of influence, who connected to the heart of God - speak words, pray for others, lay hands and I see the impartation of God’s glory manifest in the lives God uses me to impact.
I can truly say I have no regrets and will continue to mature in God.
I write this to you today to encourage you as you may walk through the fire. There is something greater at work in you, that may be unseen, hone it out in faith. I pray you will make that transition today - to be all God said you should be. That you will have a made up mind and heart to stay the course and win the race. I pray that you will be blessed in measure for all the painful experiences you walk through and that you will have such insight into all the magnificent things God has for you ahead. Even beginning today.
Remember these words as God sustains you:
Romans 8:28 to 30 amp
28 And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. 29 For those whom He foreknew [and loved and chose beforehand], He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son [and ultimately share in His complete sanctification], so that He would be the firstborn [the most beloved and honored] among many believers. 30 And those whom He predestined, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified [declared free of the guilt of sin]; and those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity].
Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
