“Thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”
Now what a powerful, inspiring and comforting passage from Isaiah 43:1-2.
"Thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine."
Here, God reminds us of our identity as His beloved children, created and formed by His own hands. He reassures us that we are redeemed, called by name, and belong to Him.
"When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee."
God promises to be with us in every challenging situation:
- In the waters of uncertainty and turmoil, He will be our guide and support.
- In the rivers of overwhelming circumstances, He will prevent them from sweeping us away.
- In the fire of trials and tribulations, He will protect us from harm and keep us safe.
What a wonderful reminder of God's love, care, and protection! May these words bring comfort and strength to your heart today. In Jesus name.
